The entrance to this romantic apartment is directly from its lovely private garden which overlooks the picturesque “squero” (boatyard) of San Trovaso, where new gondolas are hand-crafted and old ones repaired. The house is on the ground floor of a typical building of the Venetian Renaissance and consists of a large living area with two sofas (one is a sofa bed), coffee table, bookshelf, satellite TV, stereo and dining table.
The kitchen area is well equipped, there are also dishwasher and washing machine, and it offers a lovely view of the garden.
The living room leads to the study which also has a sofa bed for one person.
There is also a large bedroom with walk-in closet, and finally, a bathroom with shower.
The apartment was renovated in 2011 and newly furnished.
It lies along the "Zattere" promenade (equipped with all the docks for public transport, such as waterbus and Alilaguna stops): a charming and elegant walk on the quaiside, with waterside cafes, a lovely view of the Giudecca island and of the Redeemer Church, and a perfect place where you can enjoy the sunset. In ten minutes walking you can reach the “Punta della Dogana” (Pinault Foundation) and in 15 minutes you will be in St. Mark Square.
Pets are allowed on request with additional cleaning.

• Instructions to reach the apartment: After booking, the check-in manager, will send you instructions to reach the apartment or the place where he/she will be wait for you. You will receive the instructions of the route from the train station St Lucia, Piazzale Roma or from the airport (Venice or Treviso) to the meeting point.

• Arrival and Departure: Key/accommodation handover from 14:00. If you arrive in Venice before 2 p.m., it is possible to check-in the apartment earlier. If it is occupied and you have to wait until 2 p.m., it's possible to deposit your luggage at the Venice Santa Lucia train station or at the Venice Luggage Deposit near San Marco. Check out: please leave the apartment before 10:30 a.m.

We could not enjoy the garden in January, but the whole environment was perfectly maintained. The apartment corresponds to the description that is made online, it is spacious and very well equipped. It may lack some storage for people sleeping in the small room and the living room. And also to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom. The three beds are comfortable. Thanks to Orsola to answer our questions before our stay, and to be punctual to welcome us the evening of our arrival. All the explanations given allowed us to feel at ease in the house and the neighborhood.
